By The Sea is a collective of specialists formed by Kate Byrne and Roisin Haugh in 2025. Kate and Roisin saw the opportunity to bring together freelance consultants and fractional experts to help solve problems for companies.
Our proposal to our clients is: not every problem needs a new hire.

How you get paid
- We agree a day rate that you are comfortable with and is market-benchmarked
- We sell to our clients with a 10% mark-up - which goes towards client engagement, marketing and management
- Client pays us
- We pay you
